“You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.”

Song of Solomon 4:7

Who am I?

I'm a 24-year-old devoted Christian whose life was transformed after an encounter with God following a breakup. The end of that relationship was just one of many consequences of my brokenness. For years, I had been lost, constantly seeking validation from all the wrong places. I didn't know who I was, so I tried to fit in, which led me into situations I had no business being part of. I struggled with vanity, drug use, lust, fornication, anger issues, insecurity, depression, anxiety, abandonment issues, idolatry, and New Age practices.

You name it.

Since giving my life to Christ, I've been on a pursuit of holiness. The journey has been rough at times, but isn't that why God tells us the road that leads to eternal life is narrow? I wouldn't change anything in my past, because doing so would diminish my testimony, which I now share with you through my Christian lifestyle blog, various social media platforms, business endeavors, and overall ministry!

My hobbies.

When I'm not spending time with God or working on my brand and business, I'm most likely watching a sappy K-drama, journaling, eating, sleeping, working out, reading, cooking, or posting a word on TikTok. Two activities I love (but haven't done in a while) are playing tennis and the cello, both of which I hope to get back into soon!

My favorite things.

I love being out in 75-degree weather, where the wind kissing your skin keeps you from getting too hot. I love eating my favorite foods while watching a good movie—typically one filled with romance and a tear-jerking plot. That feeling you get when you're listening to worship music and get chills because God is in the room? Yeah, I love that. Butterflies, sunsets, being hugged by my favorite person, being told that my relationship with God is inspiring, accomplishing goals I've set for myself?

Hands down, ten out of ten.

I’m a lover of the arts!

I've always been the kind of person to stop and admire art in its various forms, but I have to say, my relationship with God definitely inspired me to tap into my own gifts. The beauty around me was magnified once I started seeing things through His eyes, and the creative juices were in overflow. God helped me realize that I was more talented than I thought through painting, crafting, and even cooking! He showed me that in purpose, you're bound to do well because it's what you were destined for. Creating is just another way for me to spend time in His presence, where I allow Him to inspire my work and simply reflect.

I live in the great big state of Texas :)

I've had the opportunity to experience a few different states, mainly due to my mom remarrying and becoming a military brat. I was born in Florida, and after living in Arizona for a few years, my mom met the man God had for her, and we moved to Alabama. No offense to any Alabamians, but I'm so glad I only spent a year there—the humidity was something else! My family then moved to good old Texas, where we've had our roots planted for about 13 years now. I can honestly see myself living here for the rest of my life.

Dedicating my life to Christ.

Like so many others, my relationship with God was strengthened through quarantine in 2020. I tell everyone that I dedicated my life to Christ emotionally in March, and officially (I got baptized!) on July 4th. I remember talking to Him about how I wanted a promise ring to symbolize my relationship with Him, and He used my mom to surprise me with one the day I got baptized. It has the number seven on it, which is significant in a few ways. Seven is my middle name backward (Neves), so it's a part of my identity, and in the Bible, it represents completion and perfection. God blessing me with this ring was His way of telling me that I am complete in Him. He assured me that so long as I pursue my relationship with Him first, He will shape and mold me into the woman He always intended for me to be. In that, I would be prepared for the man He has for me to marry! <3
